Your Confusion

As your lips awoke mine fell asleep.
The zig-zag road of your attention

was too slippery
and I fell.
You were not there to pick me up,
too busy licking your tongue
to notice my fall.

You stayed awake all night

micro-scoping my every syllable,
and if you magnify something enough
eventually you can't see it.
Your depth of thinking became a bottomless pit,

flooded with the saliva of your desires.

As you tortured yourself

between your Microscope and your Desires
I slept,
intuitively listening to the beat of your confusion.

As I slept
your lips awoke,
and when a person sleeps long enough,
they die.
